Established in 1962, Hyde Park Mouldings has grown to be one of the last remaining national players in the ornamental and architectural plaster molding industry. We proudly manufacture all of our moldings in New York. Click here for the list of our locations.

The expertise and artistry of the ancient European masters was brought to America by the company’s founders to a shop in New York to serve the growing upper class who sought the old world elegance that plaster provides. By continually investing in the business, Hyde Park was able to create one of the largest standard finished product catalogues in the industry. But size was not the only factor in our continued success. By adhering strictly to traditional manufacturing techniques we are able to provide product that has the same softness and style of the old masters. All of our traditional plaster products are made by hand with only three ingredients – gypsum, burlap, and wood. We manufacture a complete line of cornices including but not limited to crowns, coves, friezes, center pieces, ceiling systems, panel moldings, and chair rails.

Since markets change over time we have found that more and more of our clients desire unique designs and curves. Hyde Park is happy to be on the forefront of these market developments. Our artisans and sculptors excel at creating models that match a client’s, their designer’s, or architect’s vision.
